v1.0
NH PRO 1.5.24 · Updated 13 October 2026
From receiving the software to checking connections, configuring an instrument and monitoring a running strategy. This manual describes a Windows workflow; the videos demonstrate the software on a Windows VPS.
On a phone, wide tables can be scrolled horizontally.
Contents
1. What to prepare
You need the NH PRO distribution supplied in your official package, your software sign-in details, a Windows environment and your trading account details. The NH PRO login and the broker account login belong to separate connections.
A computer or VPS. The demonstration uses a VPS: the software and its connections run on that server. For the initial installation, you need to be able to extract an archive, install the requested Microsoft components and access the internet.
NH PRO access. Have the supplied software credentials and archive ready. Do not use credentials shown in someone else's examples or videos.
Account access. Check the correct platform—MT4, MT5, FIX API or cTrader—and the details provided by your broker for that connection type.
An instrument and configuration. You need the exact broker symbol, the corresponding price-feed instrument and the settings for your chosen strategy. The same asset may have different names on different connections.
Choosing a VPS
Assess connectivity to the broker's actual trading server and the selected price feeds from the VPS where the software will run. A region name or a low ping alone does not confirm trade execution speed. After connecting, separately monitor price updates, the log and execution results.
The confirmed standard PRO package includes five price feeds: two in London, two in New York and one in Tokyo. Start with the feed specified for your configuration; do not select it solely by its geographic name.
This public manual does not provide a universal numerical preset. Settings depend on the broker, instrument and execution. PRO requires configuration and ongoing monitoring.

2. Installation and sign-in
Transfer the archive to your working environment. If the software will run on a VPS, perform the following steps within that VPS session. Extract the archive into a separate folder.
Run the launcher supplied in your package. In the video, this is the main Pro launcher with the logo. Do not substitute an arbitrary file named in an older manual: the distribution may have changed.
Install the requested Microsoft components. If the launcher reports a missing .NET runtime, follow its link to the official Microsoft resource and install the requested component. Run the launcher again afterwards. The demonstration required two different packages; the number and versions depend on your build and the Windows components already installed.
Sign in to NH PRO. Enter the credentials supplied for the software. This does not yet connect your broker account.
Wait for the download and update. On first launch, the launcher may retrieve the current version. If you are asked to sign in again after updating, use the same software credentials.
Check that the main window opens. Before proceeding to trading, locate the connections list, strategies list and message log.
Checkpoint: the main window opens, sign-in is accepted and the software is ready for connections to be added. Starting a trading strategy is a separate action.
Plan updates to an already running application after checking open positions and how trading will be finished. Restarting the application does not itself confirm that positions have been closed at the broker.

3. The main window
Area | What to do here | What to check |
|---|---|---|
Connections on the left | Add fast feeds and trading accounts; enable connections. | Status, connection messages and latency. The letter T identifies a connection that can be used for trading. |
Strategies on the right | Add a combination of broker, instrument and strategy; start the selected row. | Instrument, spread, bid, strategy state and available account data. |
Log at the bottom | Review connection and trading events. | Error reason, event time and associated connection. |
Strategy settings window | Move between Common, Trading, Strategy and Orders. | General connections, trading conditions, selected algorithm settings and order execution. |
A green connection status means the connection succeeded. It does not yet verify instrument mapping, signal quality or execution; these are checked in the following steps.
Video: checking a connection—part 1, 16:53; window areas—part 1, 17:56; settings window—English video.
4. Connecting a fast price feed
Right-click in the connections area on the left and select the option to add a connection.
For the connection type, choose the required New Hope feed from the list available to you. Its menu label may differ from the geographic name used in the package description.
Give the connection a clear name so you can select the correct one in the strategy.
Save the connection and enable it using its switch in the left-hand table.
Check for a green status and a successful connection message in the log. If the status is red or no connection is established, first investigate the log message.
Checkpoint: the feed is connected and available for selection in the strategy settings. You will next need to specify an instrument from that feed.
Do not carry over the sixth NY CME Group feed from the old PDF: the currently confirmed package contains five feeds. Availability of all five in the familiarisation test has not been separately confirmed; use the access supplied with your package.
Video: feed lineup—part 1, 9:01; adding and connecting a feed—part 1, 9:46.
5. Connecting a trading account
MT4 and MT5
Check the account in the terminal. Open the correct MetaTrader version and sign in to the selected trading account. MT4 and MT5 accounts use their corresponding connection types.
Add the broker connection in NH PRO. Right-click in the left-hand area, select the add option and choose MT4 or MT5.
Enter the account details. Set a clear connection name, enter the account login and password, and supply the trading server details. Use the details for your own broker.
Check the server address. The video demonstrates entering the IP address and port of the actual MetaTrader connection manually. If your broker has already provided those values, use them. To identify the address through the terminal, follow the sequence below.
Save and enable the connection. After saving, enable its switch in the left-hand table.
Check the result. A successful connection turns green. If there is an error, read the log first: an incorrect address, incorrect account details and an unavailable connection require different actions.
Finding MetaTrader's actual IP address and port
Keep the terminal connected to the required account on the same Windows computer or VPS.
Open Task Manager → Performance → Resource Monitor, then Network and the TCP Connections table. The command's location depends on the Windows version.
Find the process for that terminal. The video uses terminal.exe for MT4 and terminal64.exe for MT5. If several terminals are open, first identify which process belongs to the required account.
Identify the remote address and port of the trading terminal's connection. If the process has several addresses and the correct server is unclear, check against the broker's details rather than choosing a random row.
Copy the address and port into the corresponding fields of the NH PRO broker connection, save and check connectivity.
Automatically selecting the server with the lowest ping does not always identify the required execution endpoint. This manual uses the method shown in the video for checking a specific connection; the example's fixed addresses and ports are not needed.
FIX API and cTrader
The standard package is confirmed to support FIX API and cTrader. Select the appropriate connection type and use the parameters supplied by your broker. FIX API may have separate price and trading connection details. Fields, addresses, ports and SSL use depend on the particular connection and must not be copied from someone else's example.
If the required broker type is absent from the menu, or you do not know which details it requires, prepare the platform name and a description of the connection for clarification. Protocol support alone does not confirm ready-made compatibility with every broker.
Video: MetaTrader and the account—part 1, 6:23; adding a broker—part 1, 11:12; address and port—part 1, 14:47; verification—part 1, 16:53.
6. Adding an instrument and feeds
Right-click in the right-hand area of the application and select the option to add a trading strategy.
On the Common tab, select the broker's trading connection. In the video, the list is filtered to show connections available for trading.
Enter the exact instrument name used by the broker. Check capitalisation, suffixes and punctuation against its specification in MetaTrader or the other platform you use.
Select the strategy specified for your configuration. See the strategy overview for the main distinctions.
Add the connected fast feed and select its corresponding instrument. This is a separate field; the name does not have to match the broker's symbol.
Check the role of each feed. In the demonstrated interface, the Good checkbox is used for a signal source; another stream can serve as a protective check. If the protective stream moves ahead of the signal stream, the corresponding signal may be skipped.
Proceed to trading and strategy settings. Do not start the row until this check is complete.
Multiple feeds and tick recording
A configuration can use several price feeds. Check each connection, instrument and role. Adding a stream changes the conditions for generating or checking a signal; the number of feeds alone does not establish an improvement in results.
The video also demonstrates recording feed and broker ticks for later analysis. Enable recording when needed for diagnostics. For investigation, retain the event time and identify which connections and instruments were recorded.
Checkpoint: the intended trading account, correct broker instrument, strategy and instrument for each selected feed are linked.

7. Checking trading settings
The settings below explain what to check before starting. They are not a ready-made preset or recommended numerical values. When using a supplied configuration, first check which broker, account type and instrument it is intended for.
Trading: signals and trading conditions
Setting or group | Purpose | What to check |
|---|---|---|
Difference / price difference | A condition based on the difference between feed and trading connection prices in strategies that use this comparison. | Its role in the chosen strategy and how spread is accounted for. Do not assume it applies universally to Impulse. |
Minimum signal impulse | The fast feed's price-movement threshold for a signal. | The instrument, price scale and selected impulse mode. |
Simple / Complex impulse | The video distinguishes movement between neighbouring ticks from movement over a time interval. | The enabled mode and Complex interval. Do not copy settings intended for a different instrument class. |
Auto offset | Automatically aligns the price levels of the compared streams. | That the compared instruments correspond, and whether and how alignment is needed for your configuration. |
Pauses and latency limit | Conditions that skip or pause signal processing. | Distinguish an error or signal pause, a trading pause and a latency limit. Their roles depend on the field and strategy. |
Maximum spread and additional impulse checks | Conditions that determine whether a signal is allowed. | Current spread, impulse exceeding spread, reverse-impulse checks and any blocking reason in the log. |
Position exits and volume
Group | Meaning | What to check |
|---|---|---|
Take profit / Stop loss | Conditions for realising a result or limiting a loss, as used by the selected strategy. | Values, units and actual execution. Slippage and commissions affect the final trade result. |
Maximum order time | A limit on how long an order remains active. | The selected strategy's behaviour when this limit is reached. |
Break-even and trailing | Conditions that change the exit after price movement. | Activation threshold, distance and step. The term “break-even” does not guarantee a zero result after execution effects and costs. |
Fixed lot | A specified position size. | The broker instrument's minimum permitted volume, step and limits. |
Auto lot | Balance-based volume calculation; the video shows it changing as the balance rises or falls. | Availability for the selected strategy, calculation settings and the actual calculated volume before trading. |
Stop after a series of losing trades | An additional stopping condition. | The configured limit, row state and log messages after activation. |
Trading schedule
In the demonstrated version, the schedule uses the VPS system time. Check the server clock and time zone, permitted intervals and the behaviour for finishing trading outside an interval. When the session is closed, the row may wait even if its start switch is enabled.
The automatic news filter and proxy are currently unavailable, as confirmed by New Hope. Do not rely on automatic trading suspension around selected economic news. Availability of a calendar view does not establish the presence of a trading filter.
Strategy and Orders
Strategy contains the selected algorithm's settings, such as the number of locks, second-account operation or grid behaviour. The fields change with the strategy. For two-account variants, check both connections, corresponding instruments, volumes and the selected mode in advance.
Orders concerns order submission and execution. The video specifically discusses settings used with FIX connections. Select types and restrictions supported by the particular connection; do not automatically transfer them from another broker's example.
Video: signals and impulses—part 1, 41:26; offset—part 1, 57:34; position exits—part 1, 59:35; schedule—part 1, 1:08:25; lot and auto lot—part 1, 1:10:29; trailing—part 1, 1:15:38; spread and limits—part 2, 0:00; Orders—part 2, 8:02.
8. Starting and monitoring
Before starting
The required broker and selected feeds are connected, with no authentication or connection errors.
Broker and feed instruments are mapped correctly, and prices are updating.
The intended strategy and configuration are selected, with volume and exit settings checked.
The VPS system time and trading schedule match your intended operation.
For two accounts, both connections and account states have been checked.
You know how to view current positions and finish the chosen strategy's operation.
Save the settings. In the video, the new row appears in the right-hand table in a stopped state.
Enable the switch at the start of that strategy's row.
Check its state. If the trading schedule is currently closed, the software may wait for a permitted interval.
Monitor the log, changes in bid and spread, and order-submission and execution messages.
Check open positions, balance and equity. Equity reflects open-position results; balance alone is insufficient to assess the account's state.
If behaviour differs from what you expect, record the time and log message, then investigate the cause. Changing thresholds simply to make trades appear, without first checking connections, instruments and the schedule, makes diagnosis harder.
Video: saving and starting—part 2, 10:45; monitoring price, spread and the account—part 2, 11:08.
9. Stopping and finishing trading
Stopping a row, entering close mode and immediately closing positions are different actions. Before updating, ending your work session or disconnecting, check the actual positions held at the broker.
Action | What the video demonstrates | Checking the result |
|---|---|---|
Row start switch | Starts or stops that strategy. | Do not treat a changed row state as confirmation that all positions are closed; check them separately. |
Close mode, C checkbox | A finishing mode: in the demonstrated example, the robot closes a lock on a signal and does not open new ones. | Completion may depend on a signal. Monitor actual closure and strategy state. |
Cross button | Described as manually closing the row's trades immediately, without waiting for a trading signal. | Check execution messages and any remaining positions at the broker. |
The described Close mode behaviour applies to the locked-position scenario in the video. For another strategy or a different interface, confirm the command's purpose first. Do not use the old PDF's sequence involving Close by as a universal procedure for the current build.
Video: strategy states and finishing commands—part 2, 16:07–17:25.
10. Strategy overview
Below are the strategy names used in the NH PRO interface, with a short explanation of the demonstrated logic. The links lead to the corresponding English explanations. This overview helps you follow the material; it does not replace the chosen strategy's configuration. Whether all eight entries remain unchanged in build 1.5.24 has not been separately verified.
Name | Logic described in the video | What to monitor | Video |
|---|---|---|---|
Classic | Compares fast-feed and trading-connection prices with signal conditions. | Instrument mapping, price difference, impulse and execution. | |
Impulse | A signal based on the fast feed's price movement. | Do not describe it as the same price-comparison mechanism as Classic. | |
Hidden | Uses opposing positions and holding. | Both sides of the lock and the finishing sequence. | |
SmartHidden | A sequence of locks, a configurable number of locks and auto lot. | Open positions, volume and limits on the number of locks. | |
2Legs | Works across two trading accounts with several internal modes. | The correct mode, both connections and both account states. | |
Smart2Legs | A two-account variant with multiple locks and auto lot. | Balance and equity on both accounts: results may be distributed unevenly between them. | |
Martin | Grid logic with a separate response to an impulse. | Accumulated volume, open positions and configuration limits. | |
HiddenPlus | A variant using opposing positions with its own opening and closing sequence. | The sequence of operations and actual position states. |
A strategy name does not promise the absence of losses or a broker's acceptance of trades. Trading and execution conditions must be checked for the chosen account.
11. Troubleshooting
What you see | What to check first | What to retain for investigation |
|---|---|---|
The launcher requests a Microsoft component | The requested runtime's name and installation result; then run the launcher again. | The exact message and Windows version. Do not guess a .NET version from the old PDF. |
NH PRO sign-in fails | That you are using the software credentials rather than the broker account credentials, with no typing errors. | The error text without the password. |
The broker connection is red | MT4/MT5 or the other selected connector, account details, address, port and log message. | Time, connection name and error without secret data. |
The connection is green but the price does not change | Instrument availability, exact name, selected feed mapping and the instrument's trading hours. | Instrument name, connection state and observation time. |
The strategy is waiting and does not open trades | The start switch, VPS system time, schedule, feed connection and signal-admission conditions. | The current row state and log messages. |
There are signals but execution differs from expectations | Submission and execution messages, spread, latency and slippage. A successful connection does not resolve this check. | Event time, log and, if needed, tick recordings. |
The strategy stopped after losses | The configured losing-trade-series condition and the confirming log message. | The sequence of events and configuration used. |
Close mode is enabled but positions remain open | Whether closure is waiting for a signal, connection status and the actual positions. | Mode, row state and execution messages. Enabling C is not proof of closure. |
The connection was interrupted | The log, server availability and the broker account's state after reconnection. | Disconnection and recovery times, and open positions. |
For technical investigation, prepare the NH PRO version, connection type, instrument name, exact time including the VPS time zone, and a relevant log excerpt. Do not include passwords, API keys or a full access-credentials screenshot. The full package includes configuration assistance from a personal manager; the familiarisation test is for independent use of the robot and manual.
