August 2020 Client Statements: Dates and Reporting Windows

Context updated October 14, 2026. “New statements by clients August 2020” was published on August 4, 2020. Its original caption invited readers to view new client materials, and the page retains three original video references. Complete account histories and independent verification of outcomes are not provided by this revision.
The August 4 date matters. Publication near the beginning of a month cannot establish a result for that entire month: part of August had not yet occurred. The collection title may identify the release month rather than the trade period. Each statement's window needs to be established separately.
Keep three dates separate
Article publication date records when the page appeared.
Recording or upload date belongs to the video or exported file.
Reporting start and end determine which trading events enter the calculation.
If the caption establishes only the first date, the other two remain unknown. A filename or video order cannot supply them. A recording labelled August could contain July history, one August day or another interval.
Define how transactions enter the window
A period report may select positions by opening time, closing time or individual execution time. These are different samples. A position opened July 31 and closed August 1 belongs in an August closure-based report, but not necessarily an August opening-based selection. The selection rule should accompany the result.
Time zones also move the day boundary. In a hypothetical example, August 3 at 23:30 UTC is August 4 at 02:30 under a fixed UTC+3 offset. That is one event, not two transactions. This example does not identify the archived accounts' time zone; obtain it from the original log.
Compare recordings on defined intervals
Build a timeline first, marking overlaps and gaps. Do not add totals from overlapping periods on the same account. If one recording ends earlier than another, their result difference may arise from included dates rather than better software behaviour.
Keep open positions at the reporting boundary visible. Closed trades within a month and the change in total account value across that month answer different questions. The balance and equity guide explains the distinction. Consult the actual format's definitions; official report documentation illustrates the kind of reference needed.
Request a reproducible starting set
Useful inputs include an anonymised account identifier, exact interval, time zone, transaction-selection rule and complete export within those boundaries. Retain software version and parameter changes where available. Choosing one attractive interval after seeing outcomes is different from an observation window defined beforehand.
Use the execution audit for reconciliation and the out-of-sample explanation for the role of a separately defined evaluation period. Read the May collection using its own dates; consecutive month labels do not establish a continuous history for one account.
