Context updated October 14, 2026. The article published on March 21, 2021 was titled “New Hope Inside PROFIT $6300”. Its original text presented a New Hope INSIDE client report. The $6,300 figure remains a historical headline claim; this revision has not independently verified the account or its complete transaction history.
The useful review question is what the monetary amount represents. It could describe a selected interval, closed-trade results or a change in an account field. Without the period, currency and accounting rules, those interpretations cannot be substituted for one another. The original video remains preserved; this text does not narrate footage that has not been reviewed.
Reconcile results with balance changes
Start with opening and closing balances and every non-trading movement between them. A deposit increases balance without creating trading profit, while a withdrawal reduces it without creating a trading loss. Credits, adjustments and separate charges need their own entries.
Consider a teaching example: opening balance 10,000, closing balance 17,300, deposits 2,000 and withdrawals 1,000 units. If there are no other movements, the result of recorded operations is 17,300 − 10,000 − 2,000 + 1,000 = 6,300. The match with the archived headline is deliberate arithmetic, not a reconstruction of the client's account.
This calculation does not yet establish net return. Check which costs are already included and whether positions remain open. Subtracting a commission again after it has already reduced balance understates the result. A cost outside the account, such as a software licence, requires separate and explicit treatment.
Reconcile the categories separately
Closed trades, their identifiers and actual execution prices.
Commissions and holding charges, retaining each charge's currency.
External deposits and withdrawals with dates.
Credits, corrections and other non-trading entries.
Open positions and equity at the same closing timestamp.
Balance and equity answer different questions; the report-reading guide explains the distinction. Check field definitions against the actual export format. MetaTrader 5's documentation illustrates report structure; it does not establish which platform this client used.
What an absolute amount cannot establish
Even a verified 6,300 monetary units would not establish a percentage return without capital and cash-flow information. It would not disclose maximum drawdown, position holding time or the next period's result. Monetary outcome, return and exposure therefore need separate fields.
Use the execution audit to inspect trading events, and the demo-versus-live guide for environment differences. The archive about a one-day claim has a different publication date and video: matching headline amounts do not make the two records one statement.
