What the announcement establishes

The publication described changes to quote transmission and processing for MT4/MT5 terminal bots. It mentioned symbols longer than six characters, corrections to particular quote-alignment cases involving gas and gold, and a new logo. These are historical Bull details, not specifications for current NH PRO or NH Crypto.

The announcement also discussed Bank Stock as a separate feed at a historical price. Those terms are not presented as a current offer. A statement about large potential earnings is not verified performance evidence and does not replace checking execution and risk.

A symbol's length does not establish its meaning

Similar source and broker names can conceal different instrument parameters. The description, quote currency, contract size, price increment and trading session matter. An application accepting a long name without an error does not establish that its mapping is correct.

The MetaTrader 5 symbol specification displays broker-defined parameters. Hypothetical GOLD and XAUUSD symbols cannot be declared interchangeable solely because the names look familiar; compare the contracts and units first. Likewise, the word Gas does not identify a particular market or delivery period.

A record for checking one symbol mapping

• The complete symbol name and description on both sides.

• Contract size, quote currency and volume units.

• Price precision, minimum increment and any scaling.

• Update time, trading session and time zone.

• Bid/ask direction and the selected comparison source.

Suppose one system displays a hypothetical value of 2350.10 and another displays 235010. This could indicate a scale difference of 100, but it does not prove that interpretation. Check the data format first. Automatically dividing the second value by 100 to make it match can conceal the wrong instrument or a parsing error.

For quantity, consult the trading-lot explanation separately. Price and position size require different checks, even though both affect the monetary outcome.

How to check quote alignment

Compare the same side of the quote over a comparable time interval. A persistent offset, a different price increment and a message-receipt delay require different explanations. Keep a small example containing symbol names, times and original values before any transformations. For a current product, use the current NH PRO manual. Ask the New Hope team about old Bull compatibility and the exact release number. Do not update a live configuration solely because an archive title appears to match.
